Where is the Compass Engine Configuration button?

Hey all, quick question!

I'm following the guide Infor LN Analytics for Birst with Compass Administration Guide, for configuring LN Analytics 2023.10, and I cannot find the button that the following steps under Configuring Compass engine is referring to:

2. In Infor OS Portal, navigate to Infor Data Fabric > Data Lake > Compass.
3. Click the Compass Engine Configuration button in the top right corner.

From what I understand, it should be somewhere in the following screenshot:

Any ideas?

Hi Haldor,

In our environments we can now see the button to make configuration changes to Compass v2 view.

If you still do not see it, you will probably need to contact support and cloud ops to activate this for you.

I cannot located that LN guide to look at what it is seeking. In a older version of the Compass UI there was a settings button for preferences in the UI for the result set. That has been updated to a small menu.

Knowing what setting you are looking to review would help.

I am looking to enable enable Use Engine Version 2 for some of the LN table objects, as instructed by the guide. By going through each step in the guide, I hope to get LN Analytics to work again after the update.

The small menu you show, does not appear in my UI, is it the older verion? The UI I'm presented with can be seen in the screenshot above.

LN Analytics is currently available as a Limited Availability offering. As part of the new packaging for analytics, LN content is leveraging the use of new features within Compass SQL that provide out-of-the-box de-duplication of data while also adding some performance improvements to query behaviors and use cases. You might see version of Compass referred to as "v2" or "analytical mode." With this new mode, administrators can toggle usage on per-table.

At present, this new platform update is in Early Access/Limited Availability mode and will be Generally Available early next year for all tenants. As tenants are enrolled into LN Analytics Limited Availability, our team is enabling the feature flag for analytical mode. As we onboard additional tenants to leverage the new functionality, the Data Fabric team is monitoring customer feedback and logs to evaluate functionality and performance.

If you have a request open via support, our support team will be able to communicate current status and ETAs for toggling analytical mode on for your tenant(s).
