How to define an string element in a Dimension in OLAP Modeling

Hi, we are trying to create a string element in a dimension thru OLAP Modeling with no success, we have created a column in the source table called 'Type' and put a 'S' for the element:

This table is linked to the dimension in OLAP Modeling definition:

Once executed OLAP Modeling the element is created as numeric:

Is it anyone know how to do it?

Hi Lorenzo,

the column should be called "ElementType". OLAP modeling will use it automatically and give you just a choice between Numerical and String:
