tctxtn field in Infor LN Report Designer

Hello, how can I make a tctxtn-type field occupy the entire screen width, because it only displays a certain number of characters, then truncates and prints a line break

HI Edwin,

I have not tried this with the Report Designer, but I suspect it happens due to the way that LN stores text.

LN links a Text Group to the text, and that has a Text Window, which defines the Number of Columns, e.g., 80 characters.  When text is saved, a line break is added to enforce the width.  I believe what you are seeing in the Report Designer output is the text with the added line breaks.

The Text Window is important so that text is correctly printed in a narrow column, etc.

If you define a wider Window Type with a larger Number of Columns, use it for a new Text Group or change the Window Type on the existing text itself, and then reformat the text to remove the previously added line break, I expect that the text will use up the full line.
