MouseOver Effect for cells with actions

Hi,

is there a setting or a possibility to have a mouse over effect for cells with an action

It is possible with buttons, but we do not find anything like that with standard cells.

Anybody else who is missing that feature or knows a workaround?

AFAIK it isn't. It's worth an enhancement request.

One option is to put an icon (e.g. info icon) in a cell with a comment next to the action. Not perfect but if you use the pattern conistently users will know it,

Another alternative is to make the default option to display a help dialog with the label saying something like "Click for copy options" with the real action(s) run from a right click menu

I have done it by defining an action that does nothing and using the text of the popup menu to display information.
