How can I report from FSM Employee to FSM Actor?

Hello,

I have a Landmark report that gets information from FSM Employee, and I need it to also list the person's MingleId. In my system, FSM Employee.EmployeeWorkEmailAddress = FSM Actor.Actor, but it needs to be case-insensitive. In Config Console I tried creating a new relation, but I couldn't figure out how the data "Sets" work for relationships.

At this point, I'm also unsure if a relation or a calculated field is better to create this relationship

Try adding this as a column/field on your FSM Employee report:

agent(Actor).Actor

If that works then you should be able to say:

agent(Actor).Actor.MingleId

So essentially, you are on the FSM BusinessClass Employee and need to get something from each FSM Employee's actor? Do I have this right?

Yes. Also I mixed up my fields, in my system Actor.MingleId is an email address and what I'm trying to get is the Actor.Actor. FSM Employee.EmployeeWorkEmailAddress = FSM Actor.MingleId

Currently I have a process flow that does this matching to populate a custom field, but the Actor business class is massive. Even collecting 1000 records at a time, it still takes roughly a minute and a half to complete. I'm hoping to use a relationship or calculated field or derived field as a reference to bridge the two business classes.

agent(Actor).Actor.MingleId doesn't work, I get reference errors. However, agent(Actor).Actor does get me what I need. Thank you
