Hi,

We are trying to understand what is causing large usage in our usage reports.

Is there any document that includes what each of the buckets are and what increases them?

For example, where is INFOR ETL tool going? There use to be a Data Lake Egress but now all I see is ION.

Where would pulling of data into Birst go into?

What is someone is running queries in Data Fabric?

Cheat Sheet please?

Hi Tina. If you scroll to the bottom of the page (Concierge -> Usage Limits -> Infor OS) you should see a link to the license pages. On there there is detail on each license and a glossary of terms referenced. The link is relative to your Concierge license, however the base one is https://os.infor/com/usagelimits

I think you will find the answer to question 1. For #1 ION ETL is a consumer of PI Gateway calls, Authentications (as is any API client), Egress, and optional (depending on how you build your ETL) Data Fabric Compute. There is a clear dashboard card for Cloud Egress which covers all egress methods.

#3 Pulling of data for Birst would potentially consume Cloud Egress, API Gateway, and Compute as well.

#4 assuming that is 'if' vs is, and you are using compass UI in Data fabric, that would be Compute, ... until you download the result ... then egress is added.

Thank you. I will check with our admins to see if they have access to that. I think what had/has me confused is that we have both Infor ETL and Birst and i didn't see anything under Data Lake below.

For Egress, the direct glossary link is Data Egress. ION ETL would report under API Gateway if you are using QueryAll and Data Lake if you are using Query in the "Function Name" selection.

Birst can be configured to use either as well, and would show under API Gateway or Data Lake as well. We do not collect the info about the client or data, just the amount that moved across the boundary per license.

We are always looking for feedback to improve documentation if you find something needed/ confusing.

This area is maturing as we are working to get all licenses represented and the documentation to support them. Concierge release notes track this change in the Usage Report section if you are interested. There should be a Usage Report update late next week.

Do you know what feeds into the Integration bucket? Is that all ION? And how do we tell how Birst would be considered if we are using the Enterprise Connector?
