I've managed to configure Document Output Management to archive to IDM (Infor Document Management)
But file name is like tmp039622130.pdf
I would prefer the filename is something meaningful, like using the variables.
Can anyone advise please?
I think you can do that (untested) in ttrpi2510m100 add a Part of type Document Filename and give it a simple content of say #myvariable#.pdf
That should work if you set Destination Type to All or DMS
so, if it's a PO use #po#.pdf or any other variable you want. Make sure to map it in the report rules.
ok but in Document Mapping (ttdms3550m100) I guess I need to map it to a specific attribute, would that be 'MDS_ID'??
The document mapping is only to map the report variables to document attributes in IDM. Do not touch MDS_ID, just leave it as it is. In DOM, the part that is the document file name, in the field simple content, just put what I suggested above. I recommend to go to the documentation and see what the document is showing for setting up the various parts of the DOM procedure. If in IDM, you choose the file name to be shown as the key for the IDM document, it will take that value.
