Primary Ledger in the GLTOT cube

Perhaps this needs to be an enhancement request but is there a way to modify the GLTOT cube to include the Primary Ledger. We are trying to provide an option to our report users to view balances brought forward without elimination entries. The only way to do this is by filtering on the Primary Ledger, which is not currently available in the GLTOT cube.

The GLTOT includes a ledger dimension which may help you filter?

If not there is no way at present of adding new dimensions in this cube. You would need to raise an Enhancement Request with the FSM Team as they create and process the cube programmatically.

We would need to have Primary Ledger, not just the ledger dimension. Is there a way to create custom cubes?

Yes.

Make sure that FSM is replicating the required FSM tables into the data lake.
Use App Engine to copy the required subset of the data to the EPM Staging database e.g. filtered for Years 2023 and 2004.
Create your custom dimension(s). For this use case I would suggest using Relation Modelling

Create your custom cube. You can likely share some of the GTTOT_ dimensions.

Populate your cube from your Fact table.

You should first check that you can create new content in your BI FSM database. If not ask Infor Support to enable this. Clearly this is parallel to what FSM does and you can't benefit from it's incremental updates.

You may wish to out source the above to someone who has done this before, depending on your skill set.
