Widget SDK - ION API proxy - Cloud

Hi,

I have followed the instructions on this question:

But I get CORS error when trying to fetch ION API data while developing on localhost:8080.

Is anyone currently developing against a cloud enviornment and have got it to work?

Yes, I have it working against my MT cloud environment.

It's been a minute since I set this up originally, but it was fairly straight foward, following the directions that come with it.

Make sure you're starting up the proxy, pointing to the correct Infor server for your environment. (i.e., Edit the "StartIonApiProxy.cmd" file and make sure you have the correct Infor server/URL listed there.)

Ensure that you have an up to date ionApiToken in your configuration.json file. (This token lasts only 2 hours and has to be manually updated.)

Ensure your widget is using the configuration.json file. There should be a line in the index.html file that points your widget to the config file... something like:

<lm-app devWidget="tenant.my.widget" devConfiguration="configuration.json"></lm-app>

Also, in the configuration.json file, make sure that the ionApiUrl has your tenant name on it....

Should be something like: localhost:8083/MYTENANT_TST/
