MMS100MI - AddHead

Hi,

We are trying to create a distribution order using the MI transactions. 

We can add lines using MMS100MI.AddDOLine, but there doesn't appear to be a transaction that allows us to create a header?

Has anyone come up with a way of adding a DO header via API?

Hi Iain,

there is a MHS850MI.AddDO. I believe to remember that generates one line DOs as it creates the header and lines from a single API call with both header (from/to WHLO) and line info (item/qnty). But you might be able to use MMS100MI.AddDOLine to add more lines.
In the old days - before this API was there - a DO/RO could be created thru MHS850 generic transactions AddWhsHead, AddWhsPack, AddWhsLine. It was always a bit a puzzle to find the correct value for the different parameters/fields. If you need to go the latter way I probably can still find some notes about it somewhere.
