I used the ad-hoc tool to create a table of data, and I want to add a bar chart widget from self-service to the dashboard and have it auto-populate based on the selections in my ad-hoc. Is that possible?

theoretically it could... but it would mean major effort from your side as this is not 'natively' supported, yet. And we would have to share some internal info (which is not ideal at all because whenever we would change it you would be forced to adopt).
Long term, we want to introduce very similar (if not same) functionality in the future (though I cannot share any details or timeline right now).

Vit, thank you for the info. I am a big fan of the ad-hoc feature because I find it is much quicker and easier to use than self-service. It would be great to connect a visual widget to a table created through the ad-hoc tool without having to create the new widget from scratch.
