locale selection was mistakenly set to enUS instead of en_US in data lake.

Hello everyone,

We're using LN Analytics in a multi-tenant environment and have transferred data from LN to Data Lake. However, we've noticed that the description column in the taxonomy table is empty in compass.

Upon investigation, it seems that the locale selection was mistakenly set to enUS instead of en_US. I've corrected this by changing the locale selection to en_US. After making this adjustment, I cleared the table using "EXEC INFOR.CLEAR_TABLE('taxonomy,'False')" and reloaded the data from LN. However, the description column still isn't refreshing with the en_US locale selection, it is empty.

Could someone assist in understanding why the description column isn't updating with the en_US locale selection?

After changing the locale selection, you would need to clear the Compass cached data as well. Use the clear_table('tablename','true') or clear_data statement. Additionally, it may take up to four hours for changes in Data Catalog Locale Selection to be reflected in the Compass schema information about locales.
