Hi
Regarding this bulletin from Infor, is FTS something every FTP connection uses or is this a specific product in Cloud?
Infor Load Balancer Maintenance
Infor Cloud Operations have been informed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that our multi-tenant load balancer supporting File Transfer Service (FTS) requires additional IP addresses in order to fully support scaling operations and provide improved reliability and performance for our customers.
This change requires customers who are using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) services and have FTS IP addresses whitelisted to now whitelist these additional IP addresses. Customers need to complete this action before Infor Cloud Operations enables the additional IP addresses for our FTS supporting infrastructure.
In addition, Infor Cloud Operations is in the process of updating our FTS supporting infrastructure and solution in an effort to improve reliability and security. This additional change will be transparent to customers using FTP services with their Cloud environments.
When will these changes be made?
The changes will be made on June 5th at 9:00am EDT: Infor Cloud Operations will update our load balancer to use the additional IP addresses, and will also update the FTS solution.
Actions required before June 5th, 2024
- Test your FTS connectivity to the updated infrastructure before June 5th to ensure there is no disruption to connectivity. Please note that some older SFTP algorithms will be deprecated with this change. See Knowledge Base (KB) article 3514835 for details on the new endpoint that can be connected to for testing.
- If you have whitelisted the current FTS IPs, please also whitelist the IP addresses listed in KB 3514835 by June 5th, in order to avoid disruption to the FTP service. If applicable, customers will be required to whitelist all IP addresses for their region in partnership with their network administrators. Please note that any IP addresses currently whitelisted should not be removed.
- Please complete these actions before June 5th, 2024.
