Excel integration returning #VALUE! error

Hello,

I have a spreadsheet using the excel integration that I have been using for about 1 year. About a month ago all of my cells that use =INFOR.GET.ELEMENT or =INFOR.READ.VALUE formulas return a value of #VALUE!. If I click into the cell with the error and tab out of it, the cell recalculates and returns a valid result, but when I recalculate workbook again everything is overwritten with the #VALUE! error. Any ideas on what I need to do to resolve this? Are any others having a similar issue?

In a similar case, we were able to solve the problem after eliminating an error in a regular formula (not Infor code) on the page. It seemed that this was a showstopper for the Infor page recalculation functionality. So it might help to check if new formulas have been added and look for faulty cells using the Excel Formula Checker in the 'Formulas' menu.

Thank you. We will give that a try. We have several tabs that are using the integration so we will review each tab and see if we can find something.

I would suggest also check the application log (EPM Administration) in any case. Look for any indications of an error there.

this is unfortunately issue that has slipped into the product and should get fixed with July version. There are temporary solutions, just like what @martin-brueckel mentioned.

Easiest way is to locate the 'problematic' formulas, you can do that if you calculate sheet (to locate problematic sheet) and then you select half of the formulas and use calculate selection, etc. until you find what is causing this behavior.

We had this problem, and we found the problematic formulas were ones that referenced a cell with multiple unique IDs in the cell. For example, changing the problematic cell from [UniqueID_1],[UniqueID_2] to [UniqueID_1] fixed the page that wasn't working for us. This may not be the case on your end, but it is something to look for.

We had this issue as well. As a workaround I used find and replace - replaced all Infor.Read.value formulas with Infor.Get.value, it triggered recalculation and everything worked. I then tried to replace all Infor.Get.Value with infor.Read.value and it was still working so no idea what was the reason of the errors.
