I've just created the ER 109743 regarding the following issue:
In our company we are several admins/developers who create and edit Application engine scripts. To keep track on which user edited which script we were looking for a user information in the scripts such as "create user" or "change user". This would help us to find the responsible person for a script or the person one can contact regarding the last changes made in the code.
Apparently there is no such information. The only possibility we have is to manually add a comment in each script which mentions the user who created/edited it. This strongly depends on the discipline of the developer and for sure will not be up to date. Hence the idea to provide the user information in an AppEngine script -> see propositions in the ER
