Generate large EDI BOD XML from M3 Cloud

Hi,

We are currently in a new Cloudsuite M3 implementation for a customer and need to generate edi documents like Order Confirmation, shipment, and invoice. Our initial idea was to use standard Infor EDI BODS. However, when we analyzed the data in the current system, we found some customer orders with more than 12,000 lines. With data retrieval limitations/restrictions in the cloud suite, I don't think that standard bod will be ideal to handle a situation like this.(max file size, API data retrieval limitation,MEC processing time)

This customer uses Infor OS Essentials version.

Any suggestions? Im thinking of a custom development based on Data Lake

OAGIS Business Objects support a Batch capability. You can link multiple BODs together and the receiver can reassemble/ relate them.

Thanks, for the suggestion, If I use ION to split the BOD, still the ION Split module input payload will be more than 5 mb.

My other issue is that when I try to execute the MEC for large orders, the MEC gives me high memory usage warnings.

PS: Or need to rewrite the MEC to produce paged results and seperate BODS
