We currently use IDM to format and print our labels from CSD and TWL. We use the label templates from IDM but they are customized which we do through the IDM Word Add-In.
We use 4x2 and 4x6 labels. Our receiving labels currently use 4x2 labels and we have the product ID and then the barcode of the product directly underneath the product ID as you can see in the picture.
Recently, we have seen some issues with the barcode not scanning properly with our TWL RF units because the barcode seems to not be recognizable. This is only occurring on product IDs that are the full 24 characters or very close. I have played around with the size of the barcode section and can sometimes get it to work if I tweak the size but these keep popping up so I am wondering if there is a way to set that barcode section to dynamically expand and shrink with the character length of the product.
Has anyone run into this or know of any solutions within the word add-in that could possibly resolve this issue?
