Email not sent to all users in distribution list

I have a workflow which needs to send an email to a list of users. The configuration for the distribution list has already been done with all the users and their emails.

The configuration for email usage has also been done.

But the email is not sent to all the users in the list all the time. In some cases I have all my users getting the email, in others I have only 2 of the users receiving the email and in some cases only 4 users receive the email. I tried adding the users to a group and added the group to the distribution but the issue was the same.

Has anyone faced a similar issue before? Are there additional configurations needed?

I reported this behaviour some time ago. It's a known issue and corrections are preliminary scheduled for 2024.08. Follow KB3521865 for updates.

Hi Kaanez,

Are the users that are not getting emails getting some but not all? If none, then did they check their spam, or did email filtering drop them?

When you review the Workflow Activity history, are the emails showing as the distributed email you expected?

9. Click the Distribution Users tab and view the list of users from the distribution list. The distribution list can contain a group name. The tab shows all users that belonged to that group at the moment the alert, task, or notification was sent.

The problem is that they are split only in the distribution. Looking at the workflow activity it looks like its been sent to users in one mail, but its split in the distribution, so if 7 users should receive one mail, its random if its split in 2 and 5 recipients, 3 and 4 etc.

We have the same condition. All the emails are getting delivered according to our Exchange server. However, the email client does not reflect that in the "To:" field of the emails.

Yes in the workflow activity I have all the emails.

In my email here I can see that the email has not been sent to all of the users. I had 7 users in my list but only 6 received the email.
