How do we create a FileTemplate for a .xlsx file type ?

Hi All,

I need to read .xlsx file in my DataFlow for which I need to create an appropriate FileTemplate.

But I am facing issues for any kind of settings I give in FileTemplate creation settings. Is it Possible?

Can anyone help me out in this?

It is not Feasible as far as I've looked, as XLSX is an Excel internal binary format for the data and formatting of an excel document internally.

This indicates that this data is not consumable externally.

Please do Share you views on the same, if found Otherwise ...

Just a suggestion , Cant you try to create file connector template with binary format and try to read the content using python.

I have tried this one, but the problem here is, that when I try to feed the binary data to the script, it doesn't take the whole raw data as input, it only takes few initial character.
