Automatic load (initiate) tables to Data Lake

Hi.

I am looking for a way to automate initiate of tables to Data Lake. Sometimes we need delele all information from Data Lake (for example TST Tenant after copying one company to other company) and reinitiate all tables EVS002MI or EVS008. Sometimes those are 180 tables manually. That's why maybe someone may have been looking for a way to automate this process. Is it possible?

In CSD there is a report to run that sends tables to datalake, CSV "saabe". Since its a report it can be scheduled.

I managed to automate the initial loading by using Postman and its Runner mode, which reads a csv file in which I've listed all the tables with a pause time for each run

Hi Denis, do you control Initiate time or use static time? If you use static time - how long you waiting before next initiate (if this not a secret?). Did you try initiate many tables step by step?

I use this technique when I release a new company in project mode. So, at this stage, the tables are not very full. I arbitrarily set a few seconds between the loading of 2 tables and load the hundred or so tables involved in M3 Analytics.

Denis, thank you for you answer. I thought about it and you confirmed it. But I need some "deep control" initiate small and big tables in same time step by step (because we can load only 3 tables in the same time). I think if use Excel, EVS002MI and VB it's will be working normally with control initiate and error. Maybe someone has experience with this combination?

I have developed small application using c# where I can import the table list export from the data lake publisher. It uses EVS002 MI with DTLK 2.

Hi Prabodha, What is DTLK 2? I know only DTLK1 ? :-) Do you control finish job initiate table or use "pause" time?

With the 2024.04 update of M3 Core, the batch loading method can be used with initial load to Data Lake using EVS002MI. The property DTLK can be set to 2 to batch load into Data Lake.

- a H5 script calls the API for each table needed, can be launched from any function

- an excel with all tables can be processed in EVS100

Ok Guys. We all understood that we can initiate tables in EVS002Mi in different ways and with "pause or waiting" time. But my question now is some change. Maybe someone has experience with intiate EVS002MI with ""some more" control infomation for example: initiate table success or intitiate table error in "batch mode"
