Set report export to xlsx without hidden rows

Hi everyone,

In Application Studio, I have a report that supresses zeroes by hiding rows via formula on a cell. If the value of the cell is zero, an if statement on the row properties reflects false and hides the row from the user. I do not use zero suppression on the hyperblock because I have multiple cubes.

These reports are then exported to Excel via the export report action and xlsx Excel file type that exports report with formulas. Is there a way for me to configure the export of the report via this action and with formulas but not export the hidden rows? Currently, using this action and the Excel file type that exports formulas includes the hidden rows as hidden rows on the Excel file itself. Thanks in advance.

I think the answer is no though you could raise an Enhancement Request (ER).

Formulas to hide rows based on values are resource intensive and hence can be slow. My suggestion is to use a slice as they supports very efficiently null suppression on rows. You can reference reference values from other cubes within the hyper blocks created by your slice by reading the slice index values. This will only work if there is one cube that can drive the suppression.

As far as i remember using xlsx value export removes the hidden rows. Its one of the two export xlsx types in the action.
