Get Document sent to IDM to include in Event Handler Workflow

In Syteline, I have a custom TaskPostPerform event that is supposed to capture the document in the task and send it as an email attachment. This works for documents that are not in an IDM Workflow. I need to know how to capture the document if it is also part of the IDM Workflow. It seems that maybe I should utilize an ION Workflow to do this? Does anyone have a working example of this that they would share?

I'm actually working on doing the same thing right now. In my case, it's for sending out order verifications along with another document. Both of which will be coming from IDM.

The simplified step by step explanation:

1. Finish event handler if not OrderVerificationReport

2. Sleep 5 seconds to give IDM a chance to finish uploading the document

3. Retrieve Order Number from TASKPARM(1)

4. Use Order Number to retrieve Customer Number from SLCos IDO

5. Retrieve email addresses from a previously set up Customer Document Profile

6. Get Order Verification Document Name from DocumentObjectAndRefViews IDO

7. Get Order Verification from IDM

8. Go back to step 2 if document has not finished uploading to IDM yet

9. Retrieve PID from XML response from step 8

10. Send Email with Attachments

11. Finish

And this is how the email looks. I just got this working so I'm still figuring out what I can and cannot format. And there's only one attachment so far because the second document isn't ready for me to start testing with yet.
