Payroll Reporting and Actor Org Unit Security

Posting a pain point that we've had with a specific business need. 

We have Generalist with Actor Org unit filtering, locking them down to a specific set of resources. Unfortunately, most areas of the payroll module do not accept Actor Org unit filtering. We would love to see an out-of-the-box option for Payroll Reporting for HRGeneralist with Actor Org units assigned to them.

I have opened an enhancement request for this item. Has anyone else experienced this need and facing the same limitation?

The ActorOrgUnitPayrollAdministrator_ST role will be available with the October 2024 CU.  I assume it uses the ActorOrgUnit setup that exists today for the HRGeneralistActorOrg roles.

Position Budget Monitoring also uses the ActorOrgUnit setup to limit the PositionSiteAdministrator role to specified Org Units.

What happens when the ActorOrgUnitPayrollAdministrator is needs a DIFFERENT set of Org Units than they need for Position Site Administrator?

Q: On the ActorOrgUnit setup - is there a way to designate which role(s) the Org Unit record should apply to?
