How to Start a Workflow Using IDM

Hello, I’m a new hire currently in my fifth week.
After watching this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk4DtdrruoI&list=PLbzqMzjlWI2ai0KXdFI187v2FMoASVWEi&index=19),

I created a process in which uploading a file to IDM starts a workflow, sending an approval request message to the user registered as the approver.
However, the process is not starting as expected. To be more specific, when I manually start the workflow using the "Start Workflow" widget in Workspace, it functions correctly. But when I upload the file directly to IDM and press the button to start the workflow, I get a message saying the request was successfully processed, but no notification is sent. I need assistance with this.

If you want to make something automatic, it's better to use the SyncContentDocument from IDM to start your workflow : When this BOD is generated, you can use an activation policy or use a dataflow to launch your workflow. Also, you need to activate the BOD SyncContentDocument on the IDM Connection Point.
