LN Report Designer margin

Hello,

I've encountered an issue while designing a report. When I print the document, there’s an excessive margin, as shown in the attached image.

Could this be due to the margin settings in the Report Designer?

If so, could you please guide me on how to remove or reduce these margins?

Hello,

Have you tried editing default page margin proprieties? by default on some report they are around 2 cm.

Thank you for your response, Ayoub. I also have the default margin set to 2cm, but I am still experiencing the same issue. Is there any other solution you could suggest?

Hello,

You can edit there and put it for example ( for left and right) as 0,5 and you will see the margin decrease.

Changing the default page margin properties for the report will help for sure, but I've also found that changing your report to Exact Positioning (via ACTIONS>Convert to Exact Positioning option in Report Designer) will give you more fine control to reduce the overall report dead white space. It's not perfect, but definitely better. The only downfall is that I have found the entire report needs editing after the conversion. It's worth the extra effort in the end though.
