Upgrading to Infor EPM Cloud

Hi all,

One of our customers is upgrading to V!2 Infor Cloud EPM.

At the same tome they are upgrading from an on-premise Coda ledger to Epicor Kinetics in the Cloud.

We have written a RESTAPI in another (Jedox) OLAP to access Kinetics

Which area of the Infor OS will allow us to write a custom RESTAPI in Infor OS?

I assume that we need to ingest the data into the Datalake first and then use the standard queries to Staging and EPM cubes.

Any example code would be very helpful.

Hi mike - you can SFTP data into Datalake and then consume the data from Datalake into EPM.

As Peter mentioned, one option is to use the existing Data Catalog and Data Lake APIs to send data to the Infor Data Lake, then consume it from there (see here). If you wanted to send data directly to EPM, either to the built-in Staging database in Relational Modeling or OLAP, then you can create your own custom APIs.

The management of APIs is done via the API Gateway in Infor OS (see here). The functionality for creating custom APIs is currently branded as “Infor Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS)”:
