Backup and Restore for Staging database (Relational Modeling / OLAP Modeling)

Hello,

is there a way to restore the staging database or individual tables to a previous state? I could not find any mention of a backup and restore option for this database. In case someone accidentally wiped a relational table that is used for OLAP Modelling there should be a way to restore the data. Otherwise using relational modeling and OLAP modeling would be very dangerous if there is no backup.

Dennis, for on-premise customers, standard backup mechanisms can be used, for the cloud customers - cloud ops team is working on backups and they can also do that on demand…having said that - I understand the importance of such tasks, that's why we are relying on the Data Warehouse strategy where on demand backups will be possible in the future :)
