One of our City Manager's staff recently asked our Public Works director if there was an easy way to see statistics from Dayton Delivers (our branding of Rhythm for Civics) in the form of a dashboard with pretty colors, and dials, and Gantt charts, etc. I know there are a number of ways we can do this, but is there a way to see this information using Civics? I would rather not have to build this out using the old Hansen dashboarding tools.

As a City executive, I would like to see (on a dashboard) how many potholes and bulk trash pickup calls we received for a given span of time, how many have been resolved, and how long it takes to resolve items that are not already scheduled at the time of request/complaint so that I can report it to the City commission and their constituents.

Hi @Nick James I was able to discuss this with our team.

"Right now there are no tools available directly on Civics to display that level of detail to the public. The easiest work around to this would be to have a report in Birst and embed it right on Civics. You would need an OEM license for that.

We also have the ability to lookup records and view GIS layers on the map directly on Civics. If any of this information has a visual component we could show it that way. You could also build reports using ad-hoc tools in the system but it sounds like you don’t want that."

Thanks @Mary Green . I've never been fond of the IPS built-in ad hoc reporting function, but GIS might be a good way to go. We currently have some ArcGIS Server maps and reporting tools built on the ArcGIS Portal, do you think we could display some of those directly in the Rhythm GUI? We are currently in a holding pattern that prevents us from looking at any licensing outside of what we already have, but in the future, I would like to look at what we could do with Birst.
