Pop-Up for Select Element in Excel-Integration

In V11-Office-Plus the DE.NAME-Formula opens a pop up from which the user can browse through the dimension and select an element in a very easy and comfortable way.

The provided Infor-Excel-Converter (thanks to Kai Reischl!) converts DE.NAME to INFOR.GET.ELEMENT, which makes the Excel reportworking fine, but there is no comfortable way to change the filter selection of a report other than manually changing the formula or overwriting the cell content.

Is there a way or an easy workaround to get this "Select-Element-Popup" back in V12 Excel Integration?

yes, there is solution using native excel functions like xlookup and data validation.
For retrieving all members from given hierarchy you can use INFOR.GET.ELEMENTS formula and in case your model is not being changed often, you can then just copy/paste as values that so the performance is better:

Then you can use Data Validaton (unfortunately not supporting yet dynamic arrays) like:

And then XLOOKUP:

Then you can use G3 as reference and it will get updated with changes done in G2:

I am afraid that there might be some limitation for hierarchy size though.
