IDM - ION - IDP Workflow

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to create a workflow for this.
We upload a document to IDM, then ION captures it and calls an ION workflow that sends it to IDP. When we receive the response from IDP, we populate the attributes in IDM.
I can't call an IDP API directly from ION. Does anyone know how to call the IDP API?

I don't know where the documents are coming from and how you upload them to IDM but it might be easier to run the document through IDP first and use the Upload to IDM action in IDP to upload to IDM with the appropriate attributes filled.
