I want a parameter to only give me totals by a system code using GL report designer. Is there a way to do this? Thanks
Hi Jamie, there is a way in report designer to apply a parameter to a report that will only give you totals for a specific system code or group of codes. The parameter can be applied at the overall report level, or just on a specific column. To apply it to an entire report, you'll want to open your report, then select the Report Parameters tab. Click Create Parameter and it will open a form where you can select a dimension. Open the selector list and scroll down to GeneralLedgerTotal.System, then click OK. Next time you run the report you will be able to select the specific system code you'd like to run the report for.
