Changing a structure in a hyperblock based on a drop down menu (Application Studio)

Hi evryone! I have a question regarding a report I am working on in Application Studio. Previously in PM11 a hyperblock would change automatically when a new structure would get selected in a list which was enabled by a script. In PM12 scripts are no longer supported and we need a solution as to how to change a structure in a hyperblock without a script present when a new selection is made in a drop down menu of the report. Please provide any possible ways to fix this issue!

Can you clarify what you mean by "structure"? Do you mean you want to change the Dimension of a Hyperblock when a selection is made from a dropdown?

that shouldnt be too difficult. All depends on how you want to do it but the basics would:

Create a global variable
set your hyperblock to that global variable
in your drop down set a "On change action" to set your global variable to the structure you want based on the logic you want it to replicate.

if you give me specific examples of your logic process and the structures youre trying to change i can more pointed but thats the jist of it.
