I’m working with Infor LN Cloud and trying to use the Alternate VRC functionality under the customer’s cloud environment. My goal is to develop PMCs on-prem for multiple different customers and link their custom VRCs to the standard cloud base VRC.
Here is my setup:
- Base VRC in cloud: B61O_a_ext
- On-prem, customer's Base VRC is B61C_25_cnsh(the Base VRC under which the Solution is created)
- In cloud, I created an Alternate Base VRC: B61C_25_cnsh for the standard Base VRC( there is already another Alternate VRC existing)
When I try to install the PMC in the cloud environment I get:
“The base VRC of the dump differs from the base VRC of the update VRC”
However, I have found the Solution from the other Alternate VRC, looked inside and we have the same set-up, their VRC in the Solution is the same as the one defined in Alternate VRC's, just like our set-up, only different VRC.
Despite the possability to create multiple records in session: ttpmc2144m000 (Alternate Base VRC's), is it actually possible to have multiple Alternate VRCs assigned to the same Update VRC (e.g., B61C_25_cus1 and B61C_25_cus2)?
If yes, what could cause the installer to reject my PMC despite matching VRCs?
Is there any documentation where I could read more about Alternate Base VRC's? So far, i was not able to find any, when I click the "Help" button on the session, i get "Help topic not found".
Any insight is appreciated.
