Looking for Insights: Position Updates & Changes in Infor GHR
Hi everyone! I’m curious how other organizations manage Position updates/changes within Infor GHR.
Here’s our current setup:
- We use HR Talent Management, but do not use Position Budget Manager.
- We disabled the delivered Position Request because it didn’t allow managers to update all necessary fields and it does not route for approval.
- Instead, we manage the process entirely outside of Infor GHR using ServiceNow:
- Manager submits a ticket to request a position change.
- Ticket routes through departmental approvals, then Compensation, then HR Business Partner, and finally our Position Maintenance team.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has:
✅ Configured the standard Position Request form to allow managers to edit more fields.
✅ Added managerial and HR approvals to the routing.
✅ Used Position Budget Manager—would it help streamline this process?
