I recently enabled the ServiceManagement module to get our Maintenance department started with using Syteline to track/manage their PMs, and I'm trying to import the schedules for all our equipment by filling out the schedule under the Maintenance tab of a relevant equipment on the Service Items form. I filled it out as follows:
ANNUAL-7 is a basic SRO type with an annual schedule and 7 lead days, although that info doesn't seem to matter because the fields afterwards still need this information punched in and doesn't seem to pull from that type. MAINT is a blank SRO with nothing special on it, which (I believe) we'll be using to house all PMs since that seems to be the practice laid out in the Advanced Plant Maintenance manual.
After filling all this out, I believe I should be able to go to the Service Order Automatic Generation Utility and generate and SRO as long as the start date is before the time I try to process the form, but that doesn't seem to be working. Am I doing something wrong or is there other best practices for setting up PM/Inspections schedules?
