I have switched some dataview calculation fields to expression fields in Syteline 9 as calculation fields are not supported in the web client. For large data sets the expression fields are horrendously slow, making the dataview take over 20 times the amount of time they use to take to complete.
I am just about to create the fields at the IDO layer instead but are there any other tips on how I can make expression fields usable?
