Hi, I am new to Infor and just wondering what each one means with better examples. It seems that they overlap but to what degree?
Can someone explain the relationship between a Logistics company and Finance company?
It appears that the Enterprise Units can be linked to each other or independent and would be linked to only 1 Logistics and Finance company.
Sites are the "data within one logistic company"? Then the definition states that you can define local data and settings that apply to a specific location, which is different from the company data defined at the logistics company.
If you have a centralized Head Quarters (HQ) and many different business units that rollup to the company, would that mean I have 1 logistics company for HQ and 1 financial company for HQ, then multiple Enterprise units (Departments) within HQ and all of the business units would be sites linked to the logistics company?
Do, Enterprise units have their own Tax ID's?
I am trying to get a better foundation on the typical interrelated configuration between all of these "entities".
It would be nice to have an "example" to use since a lot of the definitions kind of overlap.
Can someone help me understand. Thanks in advance.
