Manage Attachments

Question

Good Day All

My client (on-prem) needs to be able to upload, Read and manage Attachments, but it should be linked to a specific planned Account/Version and Period (all custom - so not part of B&P. I managed to create a new dashboard using the standard Manage Attachments screen in EPM Administration. Is there a way to pass parameters to this dashboard (for instance the Application name) or to refresh the dashboard. I can currently upload the file but have manually refresh the dashboard.

I don't want to give all users access to EPM Administration for obvious reasons but they need to see this screen and when they upload a file, I would like to store the unique name of the file into a custom cube with the file name, Account/Version/Division etc.

Any ideas how this can be done?

Hi Ansa,

If you storage some where the unique name of upload file (in a staging table or in a cube) when you upload a new file, you after create hyperblock in AppStudio Report thats read your cube or staging table where you storage information, then you easily could download or delete the files from repository.

And your side this could be logic do this, because you said "should be linked to a specific planned Account/Version and Period", if you import the file and save the unique name the file in an cube like a cell note in combination Account/Version and Period, or a measure specified for this you read this value then cloud assign a action to download or delete the file.
