IDM ION API submit - error in IDM

Greetings,

Looking for help regarding an error during printout process in IDM.

Due to a customer requirement, we are using a data flow to call IDM ION API submit where part of the payload looks like this:

If the "printerId" = M3 printer code of CRS290, it fails. If the value is changed by the IDM ID of the printer, the job is submitted but we are facing the following error in IDM :

[Could not print to printer with printer id = cf43a4bf-a181-4887-b516-90f7c0d37109. Error distributing IEP print target.Failed to put IEP print target in queue.]

Does anyone have ever encounter this kind of error message (the printer is UP) ?

Hi Maxime,

Not sure if this part is relevant but we are using ION data flows to do exactly this and they print out okay.

We assign a batchID into the JSON payload at the end, Here is a full sample of a payload that works to print for us.

I am assuming from what you said that standard docs go without issues to the printer? Otherwise maybe trigger a test print direct in the printer setup to see if that hits your CFT server or indicates further errors there.

It will always use the IDM printer ID opposed to the M3 friendly name.
