Monitoring/troubleshooting performance issue on cloud platform

Hi,

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Is there a way to monitor performance issues in Infor Cloud Suite Industrial? We’ve been experiencing some severe slowdowns recently, and I haven’t found a method to monitor the environment the same way we would with Windows Task Manager, where we can easily see CPU and memory usage.

I’ve followed the support recommendations for optimizing performance, but I haven’t found any information on how to actually monitor what is happening when an incident occurs. Right now, I monitor active background tasks and check for locks, but that doesn’t provide the full picture.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

In the case of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI – multi-tenant cloud environment), infrastructure-level monitoring such as CPU and memory usage is managed by Infor, and customers typically do not have direct access to those system metrics like we would in Windows Task Manager for on-prem environments.

I would recommend raising a ticket with Infor Support so they can review the backend monitoring tools and check for any infrastructure-related issues, resource bottlenecks, or background processes that may be impacting performance.

In addition, you can provide them with:

• The exact time the slowdown occurred
• The users/processes involved
• Any specific forms or transactions that were slow
• Details about background tasks running at that time

This will help them correlate logs and system metrics more effectively.

Infor Support should be able to identify whether the issue is related to resource utilization, locking, long-running queries, or scheduled/background tasks.
