Order Pooling seems not to allow overstock LPNs to be pulled as one unit. Infor requested that we create an enhancement request for this process. Currently, we have order pooling turned on to allow all the orders on a wave to group together by ship-to, delivery date, and Customer P.O. This allows us to get the largest picks possible in the system.
However, with Order Pooling turned on, Group Picks is ignored in the system. This causes two or more RF tasks to be sent to grab from the same LPN as it tries to pool the overstock pick with parts of picks from the ground.
The ER would allow overstock picks to pull from the air for LPN quantity that is less than the full order quantity. We have many skus that are ordered above our TI HI, but cannot efficiently pull these from the air due to this limitation.
Please help us by upvoting this ER to improve the logic for bulk picking while still allowing large picks from the ground.
