What is the formula to arrive at this derived value? It appears to be calculating incorrectly despite APS Planning, Scheduling and APS Resync all completing successfully.
Not my specialty but I usually recommend users look at the Planning Detail form for the item to see how the values are derived if there are any questions.
Thank you for the comment. We always do that. However, there have been several instances lately where they don't compute correctly.
We had a similar concern with the calculation of "available". It turns out if you release a job, the logic does some different things because it's assumed you have the material (even if negative) to finish the job. I don't know if this is your issue, but it's worth considering. Our plant floor likes to release jobs well before they are ready so that they can print the job packet ahead of time.
The Planner Workbench will only be true at the point of time of your APS planning run.
The more transactions people have performed, the more misaligned the workbench will be. Then you need to run the APS planning again to correct this.
