How to Disable ION File Connection Point Retry feature in on-perm

Hi,

I’m working with Infor ION On-Prem and have an ION connection point configured to write files to an FTP server. During weekends, the FTP server is intentionally unavailable, and the files are not critical enough to require transfer during that time.

Currently, when the FTP server is unreachable, the write operation fails and the connection point continuously retries the transfer. As a result, the number of active/open connections keeps increasing over time and the connection points get piled up.

Could you please let us know if there is any configuration available in ION to disable retries or limit the retry attempts for file transfer failures?

Do you try Deactivate the specific Data flow ?

what about pausing the relevant active connection points?

ION > Connect > Active Connection Points > option to pause sending and/or receiving
