I’m looking for guidance or examples from anyone who has successfully used MapDrawerDatasets (map layers) to help automate inspection assignments.
We currently have several datasets (map layers) configured within MapDrawerDatasets, and I’m exploring whether these layers can be leveraged to automate or streamline inspection assignments.
Specifically, I’d like to know if it’s possible to:
- Extract data from a map layer dataset
- Match records using a common key (
AddressKey) - Use the extracted information to automatically assign inspections
The dataset/map layer includes fields such as:
- Inspector Name
- Subdistrict
- AddressKey (common key available in both ONR and the map layer)
Has anyone implemented something similar or found a recommended approach/workflow for this?
Any guidance, best practices, or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
