Learning is easier when someone helps keep it organized
Learning is an important part of your organization’s success with Infor, not only during implementation, but also when onboarding new employees, adopting new functionality, and developing skills over time.
To help keep learning organized and on track, we recommend identifying an Infor U Campus Team Lead.
What is an Infor U Campus Team Lead?
An Infor U Campus Team Lead helps your organization manage learning activities in Infor U Campus. This person does not need to deliver training directly. Instead, they help make sure learners know what training is available, where to find it, and how their progress is being tracked.
In simple terms, the Team Lead helps your organization organize, track, and manage learning more effectively.
Why this role matters?
When multiple teams are learning at the same time, it is easy for training progress to become difficult to monitor. Some users may need help finding the right resources, while others may need reminders, assignments, or guidance as they prepare for important milestones such as go-live, upgrades, or new functionality.
A Team Lead provides visibility into learning activity and helps support users throughout their learning journey. They can help keep training organized, review learner progress, monitor course activity, and identify where additional support may be needed.
This role can be especially helpful during software implementation, new employee onboarding, adoption of new features, ongoing training, and upskilling initiatives. By having someone focused on learning coordination, organizations can make training a more visible and manageable part of their overall success.
Who should be the Team Lead?
A Team Lead is typically someone who understands the business, communicates well, and can help coordinate learning activities.
Common examples include:
- Project leads
- Training coordinators
- System administrators
- Change management leads
- Department managers
- Business process owners
- Implementation team members responsible for enablement
The best Team Lead is not necessarily the most technical person—it is usually someone who can connect people, learning needs, and business goals.
What can a Team Lead do in Infor U Campus?
Depending on your organization’s setup, a Team Lead may be able to view team members, monitor learner progress, review course activity, track instructor-led training attendance, access transcripts and completion certificates, send messages to learners, and use team-level reports.
They may also be able to assign courses and learning paths, add due dates to assignments, and export reports when needed.
These tools help Team Leads better understand who is participating in learning, what progress has been made, and where learners may need additional support.
How to request a Team Lead setup:
To request Team Lead access, you will need to create a case under Sold Product: Infor Training and Education – Infor U Campus in the Infor Customer Portal.
Include:
- Team Lead’s full name
- Registered Infor U Campus email address
- Organization or account information, if requested
If directed to contact Infor U Support, be prepared to provide the same information.
Can an organization have more than one Team Lead?
Yes. Organizations can have multiple Team Leads.
This can be helpful when different departments, regions, business units, or teams require separate learning oversight.
For example, one Team Lead may support a project team while another focuses on onboarding or a specific department.
