If you are PLM users please review and endorse our latest Enhancement Request 127456. An update like this will be extremely beneficial.
Currently, PLM users have to manually Detach documents from Check Out steps, otherwise they will automatically be checked out to the next revision level, potentially causing a mismatch between the revision level in the system and the revision level displayed on the document. Flexfab sometimes has multiple Check Out steps per workflow, in order to process various additional information being added to Items, but we don’t want documents like drawings to be affected by these Check Out steps. If the Check Out steps could have the ability to be configured to act upon just Items, or just Documents, or Both, that would solve the issue mentioned above.
