Scheduling PO Creation and Invoice jobs with a Service Account

We have an issue with scheduling our PO and Invoice jobs under a system user account instead of an actual Employee. Due to the error we are receiving, I think it is because the system account does not have an Agent/Buyer/Finance Resource record so would be missing some required build to submit said jobs. Is anyone aware of a way to work around this so that we can make sure the jobs are scheduled under a user account that won't "terminate"?

If I understand the error, you can set up your System User with an Actor ID as well as an Actor Context that will allow you to then use this to set up your Jobs: In this example the System User Account is FSMUser. If I have misunderstood the issue, please let me know.

We actually do have an Actor for the Service Account. We need the account to have an Agent record so that we can assign Buyer and Finance Resource records to allow it to run certain jobs. I could be overthinking the process so wondering if other facilities have scheduled a PO Processing job or Matching job without this type of set up.

Hi Casy,

We have a service account set up for our scheduled jobs, but it does not have an agent record from a supply chain perspective. We assign our purchasing manager as the default buyer since all our requesting locations have an assigned buyer. Hope that helps. Thanks
