Adding a custom Attribute to the GLTOT Cube

Ive been fighting this for a few days. I know Ive done it before but it doesnt seem to be working. Before I open a ticket wanted to see if I forgot a step.

Ive generally followed this guideline, albeit Im in CloudSuite Portal not the Rich Client (

HR/Payroll, Financials & Supply Management - Creating user field attributes in a custom hierarchy of the GLTOT cube for reporting

Created a cube customization in ConfigConsole and added the code to add a new attribute to the GeneralLedgerTotal Business Class
Deployed the cube change
Reloaded the cube from FSM

Im still not seeing the added attribute in EPM.

Thoughts?

Just for anyone coming back for a similar issue. Turns out I didnt do anything wrong. I think the trick was one more Reload after the deploy cube configuration step, despite that step supposedly already doing a reload.

Either that or it was a caching/propagation delay. Ill confirm when I promote to the next tenant.

I have added the configuration in the Cube for GLTOT as follow, then i deployed the cube and reload the cube, which brought the UsageType in EPM under the database section but the other two fields are not showing up in Database (WorkType and ServiceType)

Any thought?? Much appreciated!

the strange part is that one came through. I didnt have to use the multipart Dimension name, but there again, it seems to work with it.

id maybe try something like:

GeneralLedgerTotal is a BusinessClass


    Dimensions

        GeneralLedgerTotal.Projects
            Attributes

                WorkType
                ServicesType
                UsageType

Thank you let me give a try, yeah It is strange. Just made the configuration change and deployed and reload the cube.
