Infor M3 CloudSuite - Factory Track (FTK) - FOB Sign On

Question

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience or know if key fob sign on to FTK is possible?

The normal routes are user and password sign on, with the ability to scan barcodes/qr codes to speed this up, but to my knowledge key fob RFID chip sign on isn't possible?

Hi Callum,

We have implemented the NFC tag logging feature for quite some time. Not RFID though.

Not only you can speed up login, the user only need to remember the PIN code which is much simpler.

There is a YouTube video done by FactoryTrack which you could follow. That video shows all details you will need from the FT side and this is only half the job. From Infor OS, you will need to add FactoryTrack users to cloud identify; then set user password from Infor OS Security. When you configure the NFC tag on FT, use the password configured in Infor OS security and you are good to go.

There isn’t any restriction form which NFC frequency to be used as long as the device you use could recognize the tag.

Feature ID: RS9317 adds NFC capabilities to the Warehouse Mobility App.

I haven't looked into it, but I would assume there's some IDO method it interfaces with that you would be able to replicate on the login screen.
