We have setup template email body which displays some standard text per document. However, is it possible to pick data from xml which is generated for that document and show it as email text (body)?

I am speaking from use of Infor M3 and IDM and yes it is possible to add in XML data from the output files.
In MS Word you can import the XML and add fields as control properties directly into the template.
Resulting in below.
Not sure which systems you are using but hopefully this is in the right direction!

Thanks Aaron, I am exactly trying to do this. We are on cloud. I did the same, but its not giving me desired results. Are there any settings that I am missing?
Its not displaying <CustomLines> and <F3SUNM>, its showing <from> though.
Is there data in the XML?
If its a repeating section, it may the Xpath is not drilling into the line data.
When hovering over the XML fields does it show values. If you enter just F3SUNM into the control does it give anything back.
Might be something in the query that is causing it not to search properly.
I can't say for sure without looking at the file templates but of course I cannot look at your data!
